During the deionizing process, the DI resin attracts minerals and trace elements of the raw water, and binds these to the resin. Anion resin attracts salts. Cation resin attracts chlorides and sulfates. Both attract trace elements, such as heavy metals, to further purify the water. |
We regenerate with a strong acid and base components to remove chlorides, sulfates and other unwanted contaminates. We carefully control the chemical mix, temperatures, flows, dwell times and other factors to optimize performance and produce a consistently high quality. During regeneration, we also strip away toxic byproducts, such as zinc, copper, and other metals which could otherwise lead to environmental control problems. |

We will always return your regenerated invisible chamois™ to equal condition if not exceed its original performance if regenerated regularly. Resin life can be shorten by many factors and become fouled and no longer capable of deionizing and because of this we offer a LIFETIME warranty and guarantee if you regenerate your invisible chamois™ once a year.
