ASSEMBLY

1.  Remove the packing material from the box.

IMPORTANT!
Save the box, packing material and shipping plugs.
You will need this in the future to return the unit for regeneration.

 

 

2.  To release the shipping plug, push in on the John Guest Fitting® (gasket) while carefully pulling out the plug from the IN-let opening of the tank. Follow the same step for the OUT-let opening. Keep the shipping plugs.

CAUTION!
The shipping plug will slide out easily.
Forcing could damage the unit.

3.  Push in on the John Guest Fitting on the IN-let opening and insert the 3 ft. tubing, pushing in until you feel a slight snap. Check for a snug connection by gently pulling on the tubing. NOTE: Incorrect connection will cause rapid depletion.

4.  Insert 35 ft. tubing into the John Guest Fitting on the OUT-let side of tank using the same procedure. Check for a snug connection by gently pulling on the tubing.

5.  To attach the sprayer nozzle, push in on the John Guest Fitting on the nozzle and insert the open end of the 35 ft. tubing. Pull gently to check connection.

PREPARING TO USE

1.  Connect a water hose to a faucet.

2.  Attach the hose to the fitting on the 3 ft. tubing.

3.  Using the T-wrench (provided), loosen the air relief cap on the top of the tank 2 full turns.

4.  Partially open the water supply to begin filling the tank. Watch for a small amount of water to appear around the air relief cap. NOTE: This process may take 2-3 minutes.

5.  Turn off the water supply.

6.  Hand-tighten the air relief cap, then tighten an additional 1/4 turn with the T-wrench.

7.  Turn on the water supply. Squeeze the spray nozzle to purge the air until the water flows smoothly.
