FAQ
Q: Can I use my IC unit for other
applications?
A: Yes; IC is ideal for all surfaces and areas. It's great on glass,
chrome, paint, vinyl, rubber, and plastic or synthetic materials.
Q: How does it work?
A: Your IC unit captures minerals through a process called
demineralizing (ion exchange). Raw water naturally contains minerals,
which are charged with positive and negative ions. These ions can be
removed through the process of demineralization, resulting in rinse
water that is basically pure or mineral free.
Q: Do I towel off the remaining
water beads?
A: No need, since your rinse water contains no minerals (pure) allow
the water to dry naturally. Giving you more time to yourself.
Q: Why do I have water spots?
A: If you rinse on a windy day, you could get suspended microscopic
dust particles trapped in your water beads or this could be a sign that
your IC unit is becoming exhausted.
Q: Does my IC unit affect polish or
wax?
A: IC doesn't leave behind a film, just a thin layer of Polymer
molecules that are replenished each time your vehicle gets washed.
These do not strip the wax or harm the paint or clear coat in any way.
Q: What do I do when my IC unit
becomes exhausted (developing water spots)?
A: Call 1-800-375-6553 and an IC customer service representative will
help you get back to a spot-free finish.
